AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2001-2002

SALARY ORDINANCE ADOPTED ON AUGUST 7, 2001

The Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, ordains as follows:

SECTION 1. Parts 5 and 12 of the Ordinance are amended as indicated:

PART 5: SPECIAL COMPENSATION

Add the following section:

District Attorney's Office

· Information Technology Managers who are given responsibility for coordinating the multiple agency consortium application development project for Family Support Services shall receive a 10% differential in addition to all other compensation. No more than one employee may be so assigned at any one time.

ORGANIZATION 17000 EMPLOYEE AND PUBLIC SERVICES

1. Item V047, Communications Dispatcher III, is decreased by 7 positions for a new total of 0 positions.

2. Item V050S, Communications Dispatcher series, is increased by 5 positions for a new total of 43 positions.

3. Item V045, Communications Dispatch Specialist, is increased by 2 positions for a new total of 2 positions. The salary is set at range 3140.

1. Item B270, Forensic Laboratory Manager - unclassified, is decreased by 1 position for a new total of 0 positions.

2. Item D196, Forensic Laboratory Manager, is increased by 1 position for a new total of 1 position.

3. Item E375, Legal Office Specialist, is decreased by 1 position for a new total of 37 positions.

4. Item B244, Public Information Officer, is increased by 1 position for a new total of 1 position. The salary is set at range 3490.
