RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASING AGENT TO CONTRACT WITH BASIC AMERICAN FOOD PRODUCTS COMPANY

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, this Board previously resolved in Resolution No. 63845 that the County would refrain from purchasing products produced by Basic American Foods and its subsidiaries; and

WHEREAS, the ownership of the relevant subsidiary of Basic American Foods has changed and it is in the best financial interest of the County to resume doing business with the Basic American Food Products Company;

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that Resolution No. 63845 is rescinded and the County is permitted to conduct business with the Basic American Food Products Company.
