Discussion
A County employee since May, 1994, Craig is lead staff to the Commission on Disabilities. In this role, he coordinates the highly successful People Who Care Awards celebration. In his position, Craig has made countless, significant contributions to the lives of people with disabilities in San Mateo County.
Craig was nominated by his manager, Stephen Juel, Charlene Silva, Director of Aging and Adult Services and Susan William, President of the Commission on Disabilities. Susan states:
"I'm sure I am not alone in having great respect and admiration for Craig's notable writing talents, creative problem solving, and remarkable ability to coordinate successful and meaningful community events. Yet, even more significant to me are Craig's personal qualities that have greatly contributed to my own involvement and development as a Commissioner for the Commission on Disabilities. It is because of Craig's enthusiasm, support and encouragement that I joined the Legislation and Advocacy Committee as a Consumer in 1995, applied for appointment as a Commissioner in 1996, and was honored to become President of the Commission on Disabilities this year. I am gratified to know that San Mateo County realizes Craig's value and dedication to San Mateo County."
Our County is fortunate to have Craig McCulloh as one of its outstanding employees.
