AN ORDINANCE AMENDING DIVISION 7, CHAPTER 2 OF THE SAN MATEO
COUNTY ORDINANCE CODE (BUILDING REGULATIONS) TO ESTABLISH
AN EXEMPTION TO BUILDING PERMIT REQUIREMENTS
FOR SMALL CONFINED ANIMAL STRUCTURES

The Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, ordains as follows:
|
|
|
SECTION 1. Division 7, Chapter 2, Section 9026.3 of the San Mateo County Ordinance Code (Building Regulations) is hereby amended to read as follows:
|
|
|
3.
|
Confined animal structures, including stables or stalls, providing that:
|
|
|
|
|
|
a.
|
The structure does not exceed ten (10) feet in height, and 150 sq. ft. projected roof area, and
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
b.
|
The project does not involve installation of any of the following:
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
(1)
|
Heating, ventilating or cooling equipment that requires a mechanical permit.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
(2)
|
Electrical wiring or equipment that connects to an electricity supply and requires an electrical permit.

|
