RESOLUTION AMENDING PLANNING SERVICE FEE SCHEDULE TO ADD A CONFINED ANIMAL PERMIT FEE

WHEREAS, on September 12, 2001, the San Mateo County Planning Commission, at a public hearing, recommended that the Board of Supervisors amend the Zoning Regulations to enact the Confined Animal Regulations; and

WHEREAS, the regulations establish a Confined Animal Permit process; and

WHEREAS, the Planning Commission also recommended that the Board of Supervisors amend the Planning Service Fee Schedule to rescind the existing Stable Permit fees and adopt the following Confined Animal Permit fee:

WHEREAS, the Planning Commission also recommended that the Board of Supervisors: (1) waive all planning services and environmental review fees associated with a Confined Animal Permit request, and (2) apply the permit review fee instead of initial permit fee for facilities operating under an existing Stable Permit; and

WHEREAS, on November 6, 2001, the San Mateo County Board Supervisors held a public hearing to consider the proposed Fee Schedule amendment.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors amend the Planning Service Fee Schedule, as shown in Exhibit "A."
