RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF REVISION ORDERAND ASSIGNMENTS RELATED TO PHASE 5C, `54 BUILDING REMODEL, SAN MATEO HEALTH CENTER

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, this Board previously executed a contract with Turner Construction for construction management and design review in connection with the `54 Building Remodel of the San Mateo County Health Center pursuant to which all construction work is performed by trade contractors whose bids are assigned to Turner Construction; and

WHEREAS, the construction work has been advertised and bid by the County in full compliance with the Public Contracts Code, and Bid Package 15 is approved with the addition of Scott Company as subcontractor because it will avoid increased costs and delays in the completion of the Health Center and ensure the efficient operation of the Hospital; and

WHEREAS, to accomplish the assignment the County now wishes to approve execution of the assignments of trade contractors, the form of which was approved at the time of the approval of the contract with Turner, and approve the Revision Order, a form of which is presented for this Board's consideration and acceptance and reference to which is hereby made for further particulars;

WHEREAS, this Board has examined and approved same as to both form and content and desires to enter into same;

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the recitals stated above are adopted as findings of this Board, the President of this Board of Supervisors be, and is hereby, authorized and directed to execute said Revision Order for and on behalf of the County of San Mateo, and the Clerk of this Board shall attest the President's signature thereto and the Assistant County Manager is authorized and directed to execute said Assignments.
