BOARD OF SUPERVISORS, COUNTY OF SAN MATEO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA

RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A SUBLEASE BETWEEN THE COUNTY OF SAN MATEO AND INSIDE SOURCE, INC. FOR A PORTION OF THE BUILDING AT 1133 INDUSTRIAL ROAD, SAN CARLOS
(LEASE NO. 1254)

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

 

WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Board of Supervisors for its consideration and acceptance a Sublease Agreement, reference to which is hereby made for further particulars, whereby the County of San Mateo shall lease from Inside Source, Inc. a portion of that certain building at 1133 Industrial Road, San Carlos, in accordance with the terms and conditions contained in said agreement, and;

 

WHEREAS, this Board has been presented with a Sublease Agreement and said Board has examined and approved same as to both form and content and desires to enter into same, and;

 

WHEREAS, during the term of the Sublease Agreement it may be reasonable and necessary, through sublease or other appropriate agreement, to make portions of the Premises available to other governmental agencies and offices with which the County of San Mateo conducts its business including, but not limited to, the Superior Court of the State of California.

 

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the President of this Board of Supervisors be, and is hereby, authorized and directed to execute said Sublease Agreement for and on behalf of the County of San Mateo, and the Clerk of this Board shall attest the President's signature thereto; and,

 

IT IS FURTHER DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the Assistant County Manager is hereby authorized to accept or execute on behalf of the County, any and all written notices and documents in connection with the Sublease Agreement; and

 

IT IS FURTHER DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the Assistant County Manager is hereby authorized to accept or execute for and on behalf of the County, in a form approved by County Counsel, any sublease or other appropriate sub-agreement to make a portion of the Premises available for uses incidental, ancillary and otherwise related to governmental purposes including, but not limited to, those of the Superior Court of the State of California, provided that such sub-agreement provides for reimbursement to County of its costs under the terms of the Sublease Agreement including, but not limited to, the cost of any improvements to the Premises that may be necessary in connection with the Sublease Agreement or any such sub-agreement.
