Background
On Feb. 15, 2000, by Resolution No. 63409, the Board of Supervisors approved revisions of the HOJ Remodel Project: new offices and Courtroom for Family Court Services, 6th Floor, and renovations to the District Attorney's offices, 3rd Floor, and approved bids in the amount of $ 2,187,590 for construction. The contract includes a separate component for Turner Construction Co. (TCC) in the amount of $524,948. Final changes to the construction costs resulting from County-initiated changes and unforeseen conditions have been approved and a final close-out of the project has been prepared for Board approval. Terms of the Contract provide that the approved amount for the Trade Contractors is to be supplemented by a fee for TCC based on the cost of the changes.
