RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF

AGREEMENT WITH CITY OF PACIFICA

TO PROVIDE FUNDING ASSISTANCE FOR A NEW ROOF SYSTEM

ON THE PACIFICA SENIOR CENTER

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, pursuant to Title 24, §570.201 of the Code of Federal Regulations regarding the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program, grant assistance may be used to fund eligible activities to be carried out by private non-profit entities which are duly organized to undertake community development activities or by public agencies; and;

WHEREAS, City of Pacifica applied for CDBG funding assistance for installation of a new roof system on the Pacifica Senior Center; and;

WHEREAS, On April 24, 2001, the Board of Supervisors approved the CDBG funding for FY 2001-2002 which included funding for this activity; and;

WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Board of Supervisors for its consideration and acceptance, an agreement between the County of San Mateo and the City of Pacifica, reference to which is hereby made for further particulars, and the Board of Supervisors has examined and approved the same as to form and content and desires to enter into the same;

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED , that the President of this Board of Supervisors be, and the President is hereby authorized and directed to execute said agreement for and on behalf of the County of San Mateo, and the Clerk of this Board shall attest the President's signature thereto.
