RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT WITH THE CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF FORESTRY AND FIRE PROTECTION AND THE COUNTY OF SAN MATEO FOR FIRE PROTECTION SERVICES JULY 1, 2001 THROUGH JUNE 30, 2002 IN THE AMOUNT OF $6,384,806

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Board of Supervisors for its consideration and acceptance an agreement, reference to which is hereby made for further particulars, whereby the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CDF) agrees to provide fire protection services for the County; and;

WHEREAS, this agreement also contains a San Mateo County Fire Warden duty statement; and;

WHEREAS, this Board has been presented with a form of such agreement and said Board has examined and approved same as to both form and content and desires to enter into same; and;

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the President of this Board of Supervisors be, and he is hereby authorized and directed to execute said agreement with the California Department of Forestry (CDF) for the period of July 1, 2001 through June 30, 2002 in the amount of $6,384,806, for and on behalf of the County of San Mateo, and the Clerk of this Board shall attest his signature thereto.
