Fourth Amendment to Lease for the North County Branch Office of the Agricultural Commissioner (Lease No. 1010) |
Recommendation
Adopt a Resolution authorizing the President of the Board of Supervisors to execute a Fourth Amendment to Lease with Golden Gate Produce Terminal for the Branch Office of the Agricultural Commissioner in South San Francisco. |
Background
Since 1990, the County has been leasing 360 square feet of office space located at 131 Terminal Court in South San Francisco for use by the Agricultural Commissioner. The current lease expires on December 31, 2001. The Agricultural Commission would like to extend the lease for an additional two-year period. |
Discussion
A Fourth Amendment has been negotiated with Golden Gate Produce Terminal. The amended term is for two additional years commencing on January 1, 2002 and expiring on December 31, 2003. The rent will increase by $11.00 per month from $365.00 to 376.00 per month. |
The Director of the Environmental Services Agency concurs in our recommendation. County Counsel has reviewed and approved the Fourth Amendment as to form. |
Fiscal Impact
Funds are available in the rental budget to cover the annual increase of $132.00. |
