During the past year you have approved responses to Recommendations 1.1 and 1.2 relating to Commodity Procurement Practices, Recommendations 3.4 and 3.5 relating to the Release on Own Recognizance Program, Recommendation 3.6 relating to the County Pet Overpopulation Program Ordinance and Recommendation 4.4 relating to annual funding to the Grand Jury for the purpose of obtaining separate counsel when investigating an entity or district represented by County Counsel. You have also approved responses from County departments for continuation items from the 1999 Grand Jury. I am pleased to present to you this update, which includes one hold over item from the 1999 Grand Jury regarding the Hall of Justice Seismic Retrofit Project and updates to the progress of implementing any recommendations requiring ongoing or further action. |
