BOARD OF SUPERVISORS, COUNTY OF SAN MATEO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA

SUBSTANCE ABUSE AND CRIME PREVENTION ACT OF 2000 COUNTY PLAN REVISION

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

 

WHEREAS in compliance with the (SACPA) this Board of Supervisors has designated the Human Services Agency, Alcohol and Drug Services as the County Lead Agency responsible for administration of the funds; and

 

WHEREAS, the County Lead Agency is responsible for coordination of the planning process, preparation and implementation of the San Mateo County SACPA Plan required by the Substance Abuse and Crime Prevention Act of 2000; and

 

WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors approved the San Mateo County SACPA Plan on June 19, 2001; and

WHEREAS. it is now necessary to revise the San Mateo County SACPA Plan because of new funds and requirements initiated at the State level; and

 

WHEREAS, it is anticipated that minor revisions to the San Mateo County SACPA Plan will be necessary several times each year throughout the term of the San Mateo County SACPA Plan which expires on June 30, 2006:

 

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS RESOLVED that this Board of Supervisors on behalf of the County of San Mateo hereby approves the revised San Mateo County SACPA Plan, completed pursuant to §9515 Title 9, California Code of Regulations, and in accordance with ADP instructions for implementing the Substance Abuse Treatment and Testing Accountability Program, by the Human Services Agency, Alcohol and Drug Services; and

 

Agrees that the County of San Mateo shall comply with the provisions of Health and Safety Code, Division 10.9, commencing with Section 11999.20 and the provisions of the California Code of Regulations in Division 4, Chapter 2.5.

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Board of Supervisors, on behalf of the County of San Mateo, hereby delegates approval authority for future revisions to the San Mateo County SACPA Plan to the Director of the Human Services Agency. Delegation of approval authority is made in accordance with §9515 Title 9, California Code of Regulations, and this delegation of approval authority shall remain in full force and effect until June 30, 2006.
