SITTING AS THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITY

RESOLUTION APPROVING THE SECTION 8 PROGRAM ADMINISTRATIVE PLAN AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR (DIRECTOR OF THE OFFICE OF HOUSING) OR MANAGER OF HOUSING OPERATIONS TO UPDATE THE PLAN AS NECESSARY TO CONFORM WITH HOUSING LAW AND HUD REGULATIONS

RESOLVED, by the Board of Commissioners of the Housing Authority of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) require that housing authorities develop an Administrative Plan to govern the operations of the Section 8 Program and that such plan be kept current to conform with ongoing statutory and regulatory changes;

WHEREAS, an administrative plan has been developed by staff which conforms to the requirements of HUD and incorporates all current housing laws and regulations;

WHEREAS, this Board has reviewed the Administrative Plan and found it to meet all requirements;

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the Section 8 Administrative Plan is approved and is to be transmitted to HUD as required and that the Executive Director (Director of the Office of Housing) or Manager of Housing Operations is authorized to make such ongoing revisions to keep it current with housing law and HUD regulations and transmit the revised plan to HUD without further review.
