BOARD OF SUPERVISORS, COUNTY OF SAN MATEO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA

RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A LEASE BETWEEN THE COUNTY OF SAN MATEO AND ISLAM TEMPLE A.A.O.N.M.S. (SHRINERS) FOR A PORTION OF THE BUILDING AT 150 W. 20^TH AVENUE, SAN MATEO
(LEASE NO. 1256)

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Board of Supervisors for its consideration and acceptance a Lease Agreement, reference to which is hereby made for further particulars, whereby the County of San Mateo shall lease from Islam Temple A.A.O.N.M.S., a California non-profit corporation (Shriners), a portion of that certain building at 150 W. 20^th Avenue, San Mateo, in accordance with the terms and conditions contained in said agreement, and;

WHEREAS, this Board has been presented with a Lease Agreement and said Board has examined and approved same as to both form and content and desires to enter into same, and;

WHEREAS, the Lease Agreement provides the County the option, at its discretion, to extend the term for one addition period of five years, and further provides the option, under certain conditions, to lease additional space in the Building on the same terms and conditions, and at the same rate set forth in the Lease Agreement.

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the President of this Board of Supervisors be, and is hereby, authorized and directed to execute said Lease Agreement for and on behalf of the County of San Mateo, and the Clerk of this Board shall attest the President's signature thereto; and,

IT IS FURTHER DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the Assistant County Manager is hereby authorized to accept or execute on behalf of the County, any and all written notices and documents in connection with the Sublease Agreement; and

IT IS FURTHER DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the Assistant County Manager is hereby authorized to exercise for and on behalf of the County, any options contained in the Lease Agreement.

IT IS FURTHER DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the Assistant County Manager is hereby authorized to accept or execute for and on behalf of the County, any and all notices, certificates and documents or amendments related to the Lease Agreement which have nominal fiscal impact on the County.
