Employee of the Month for March, 2002

Recommendation

Honor Pamela Watson as Employee of the Month for March 2002 and authorize the President of the Board to sign the commendation.

Background

The Employee of the Month program was established in December 1984 to recognize and honor County employees who consistently demonstrate an outstanding level of performance.

Our Employee of the Month for March 2002 is Pamela Watson, Administrative Assistant I in the Information Services Department.

Discussion

A County employee for over four years, Pamela is a diligent and productive worker with an excellent disposition. Pamela was nominated by Judith Holiber, Deputy County Counsel who works with Pamela on a regular basis reviewing contracts for the Information Services Department. Judith commends Pamela for being "very responsible and attentive to detail."

She is always ready and willing to help out and has been an invaluable resource to Judith in helping her with her transition as Information Services Department's Counsel.

Pamela takes a lot of care with and pride in her work. She does not shy away from doing extra work or coming in on Fridays when the office is closed. She is always cheerful and enthusiastic.

Our County is fortunate to have Pamela Watson as one of its outstanding employees.
