Resolution Adopting Policies and Procedures for Maintaining Hangar and Tiedown Waiting Lists at San Carlos and Half Moon Bay Airports and Reopening the San Carlos Hangar Waiting Lists

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

 

WHEREAS, this Board directed the Director of Public Works to develop policies for this Board's consideration to reopen the San Carlos Airport Hangar Waiting Lists; and

 

WHEREAS, this Board also directed the Director of Public Works to develop policies and procedures for this Board's consideration for maintaining hangar and tiedown waiting lists; and

 

WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works has submitted his recommendations to this Board and this Board has considered the recommendations of the Director of Public Works.

 

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that:

The "San Mateo County Airports Hangar/Tiedown Waiting List Policies and Procedures" dated April 1, 2002, attached hereto and made a part hereof is hereby adopted as the policies to be followed by the Director of Public Works in maintaining the waiting lists at San Carlos and Half Moon Bay Airports and in reopening the San Carlos Airport hangar waiting lists.

The Director of Public Works is hereby authorized to implement said Policies and Procedures beginning April 15, 2002.

The 45 day application period as specified in said Policies and Procedures shall commences on April 15, 2002, and shall end on May 29, 2002. Applications postmarked no later than May 29, 2002, shall be considered as received on time. However, an application received via the mail after June 15, 2002, shall be considered as a Tier 5 application as defined by said Policies and Procedures.

 

4.

Fees and policies established by this resolution shall remain in full force and affect until changed or modified by an action of the Board of Supervisors.
