RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A FIRST AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT WITH CITY OF DALY CITY, BAYSHORE SCHOOL DISTRICT, BRISBANE SCHOOL DISTRICT, JEFFERSON ELEMENTARY SCHOOL DISTRICT AND SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT

( DALY CITY PENINSULA PARTNERSHIP COLLABORATIVE)

 

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

 

WHEREAS, the City of Daly City Peninsula Partnership Collaborative was formed in 1995 with the mission to promote and facilitate collaborative efforts to ensure young children and their families have access to the health education and social services needed to be successful in school and in life; and

 

WHEREAS, the Board has authorized the execution of a two year agreement Resolution #64243 dated February 13, 2001 with the City of Daly City, Bayshore School District, Brisbane School District, Jefferson Elementary School District and South San Francisco Unified School District (the Daly City Peninsula Partnership Collaborative) to promote and support Programs for school readiness and success; and

 

WHEREAS, the parties desire to amend the agreement to include the Cost of Business Increase, extend the term date to June 30, 2004 and increase the County's maximum fiscal Obligation to $445,000; and

 

WHEREAS, this Board has been presented with a form of said amendment and desires to enter into the amended agreement:

 

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the President of this Board of Supervisors is, and is hereby authorized and directed to execute said amendment to the Agreement for and on behalf of the County of San Mateo, and the Clerk of this Board shall attest the President's signature thereto.
