Resolution Authorizing Execution of an Agreement with the City of Redwood City for the Installation of an In-Pavement Lighted Crosswalk Warning System- Bay Road at Tenth Avenue

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, the intersection of Bay Road and Tenth Avenue is partially within the unincorporated area and partially within the corporate limits of the City of Redwood City(City); and

WHEREAS, the City is proposing to construct an In-pavement Lighted Crosswalk Warning System (ILCWS) at the above described intersection, and has requested the County's cooperation; and

WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Board an agreement that provides for the construction of the ILCWS at said intersection and this Board has considered said agreement; and

WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works has recommended that the agreement be approved by this Board and this Board has considered the recommendation of the Director of Public Works.

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the President of this Board of Supervisors be, and is hereby, authorized and directed to execute said agreement for and on behalf of the County of San Mateo, and the Clerk of this Board shall attest to the signature hereto.
