RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A LICENSE RENEWAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE COUNTY OF SAN MATEO AND THE UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE, FEDERAL BUREAU OF INVESTIGATION AT PISE MOUNTAIN (PERMIT NO. 5169)

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, the parties entered into an agreement in February 2000, which agreement was first amended in September 2000, and

WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Board of Supervisors for its consideration and acceptance a License Renewal Agreement, reference to which is hereby made for further particulars, whereby the County of San Mateo shall permit The United States Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Investigation (F.B.I.) to operate a communication site at Pise Mountain in accordance with the terms and conditions contained in said License Renewal Agreement; and

WHEREAS, this Board has been presented with a form of such license renewal agreement and said Board has examined and approved same as to both form and content and desires to enter into same:

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED

1. That the President of this Board of Supervisors be, and is hereby, authorized and directed to execute said License Renewal Agreement for and on behalf of the County of San Mateo, and the Clerk of this Board shall attest the President's signature thereto.

2. That the Assistant County Manager is hereby authorized to accept or execute on behalf of the County, and any all notices and documents in connection with this License Renewal Agreement and accept the exercise of the option by Licensor.
