BOARD OF SUPERVISORS, COUNTY OF SAN MATEO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA

RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE PHOTOVOLTAIC SYSTEM FOR THE SHERIFF'S FORENSICS LABORATORY AND CORONER'S OFFICE, AUTHORIZING THE ASSISTANT COUNTY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE ASSIGNMENT AND THE REVISION ODER THEREFORE TO TURNER CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, AND APPROVING THE FINAL CONSTRUCTION BUDGET FOR THE PROJECT

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, the County of San Mateo has received bids from photovoltaic distributors, the lowest being from Powerlight Corp. for the photovoltaic system to be added to the San Mateo County Sheriff's Forensics Laboratory and Coroner's Office and the County wishes to award the work to Powerlight Corp.; and

WHEREAS, the plans and specifications for the photovoltaic system have been presented to this Board and this Board wishes to approve same; and

WHEREAS, there has been presented to the Board an assignment form reference to which is hereby made for further particulars, by which the Powerlight Corp. bid is assigned to Turner Construction to enter into a contract; and

WHEREAS, this Board has been presented with a Revision Order amending the agreement with Turner Construction Company to reflect the photovoltaic system and said Board has examined and approved same; and

WHEREAS, Turner Construction Company now offers a Final Construction Budget including the photovoltaic system and submits Exhibits F and G identifying the costs payable through Turner Construction Company and submits a Schedule of Payments.

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that photovoltaic system shall be constructed by Powerlight Corporation and the plans and specifications therefore are hereby approved; the Assistant County Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute the assignment form and the Revision Order, and Exhibits F and G to the Contract for the project are hereby accepted.
