RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PRESIDENT OF THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS TO ACCEPT A ONE YEAR AMENDMEN TO THE GRANT FROM THE PUBLIC HEALTH INSTITUTE IN THE AMOUNT OF $180,000 TO CONTINUE THE WORK OF THE PARTNERSHIPS FOR THE PUBLIC'S HEALTH IN COLLABORATION WITH THE COASTSIDE COMMUNITY AND THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO.

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, the County was funded by the Public Health Institute to create a plan address health issues in collaboration with community partners in South San Francisco and the Coastside community;

WHEREAS, the collaborative plan was approved for implementation by the Public Health Institute;

WHEREAS, the County has been awarded a grant from the Public Health Institute in the amount of $180,000;

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the President of the Board of Supervisors accept the grant from the Public Health Institute in the amount of $180,000.
