RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PRESIDENT OF THE BOARD TO EXECUTE A MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF FORESTRY AND FIRE PROTECTION AND THE COUNTY OF SAN MATEO

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Board of Supervisors for its consideration and acceptance, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), regarding the financing, acquisition, site development, construction and leasing of that facility described as the Skylonda Fire Station, by and between the County of San Mateo (County), and the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CDF); and

WHEREAS, this Board has been presented with a form of such MOU and said Board has examined and approved same as to both form and content and desires to enter into same; and

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the President of this Board of Supervisors be, and he is hereby authorized and directed to execute said MOU with the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CDF) on behalf of the County of San Mateo, and the Clerk of this Board shall attest his signature thereto.
