RESOLUTION APPROVING A LICENSE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE COUNTY OF SAN MATEO AND JEFFERSON UNION HIGH SCHOOL DISTRICT ALLOWING THE SCHOOL DISTRICT TO OPERATE A TEMPORARY ROPES COURSE IN SAN BRUNO MOUNTAIN STATE AND COUNTY PARK

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, the Jefferson Union High School District (JUHSD) has proposed to operate a ROPES COURSE in San Bruno Mountain State and County Park; and

WHEREAS, the County of San Mateo has agreed to permit use of the County Park for said facility and program recognizing the benefit of the facility to the community; and

WHEREAS, San Mateo County is committed to establishing partnerships that promote education, recreation and environmental opportunities for youth in the County Parks; and

WHEREAS, the said agreement contains assurances that JUHSD use must comply with conditions that will allow the continuation of the agreement; and

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the San Mateo County Board of Supervisors by adoption of this resolution hereby approves the agreement allowing Jefferson Union High School District to operate a ROPES COURSE in San Bruno Mountain State and County Park; and

IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the Director of the Environmental Services Agency execute said License Agreement on behalf of the County of San Mateo.
