Resolution Authorizing Execution of Omnibus Architectural & Engineering Professional Services Agreements with Four (4) Consulting Firms to Provide Professional Technical Services for County Projects

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of this County is authorized to engage the services of professional technical experts; and

WHEREAS, the public interest and general welfare will be served by selecting and utilizing consulting firms for various architectural and engineering services; and

WHEREAS, the firms of DES Architects + Engineers, Gelfand RNP Architects, Group 4 Architecture, and Keller and Daseking Architects, are professional consulting firms qualified to perform architectural and engineering services on a variety of projects; and

WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works has recommended that agreements be entered into with the four above referenced firms to provide architectural and engineering services as may be needed and under the direction of the Director of Public Works; and

WHEREAS, this Board has considered the recommendation of the Director of Public Works.

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that

1.

the President of this Board of Supervisors be, and is hereby, authorized and directed to execute said agreements with the four above referenced firms on behalf of the County; and

2.

the Clerk of this Board is hereby authorized to attest to President's signature thereto
