RESOLUTION OF SUPPORT IF AMENDED FOR ASSEMBLY BILL 2776 (SIMITIAN) AVIATION NOISE DISCLOSURES.

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, the Assemblyman Simitian has introduced AB 2776 to address the concern of homeowners and residents affected by aviation noise;

WHEREAS, the County of San Mateo is home to three airports including the San Francisco International Airport;

WHEREAS, the noise impacts of planes has been a concern to some residents of San Mateo County;

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the San Mateo County Board of Supervisors by the adoption of this resolution hereby supports Assembly Bill 2776 (Simitian) if amendments are included to address the inability to determine clearly whether a parcel is within an Airport Influence Area.
