RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF HUMAN SERVICES AGENCY TO EXECUTE A THIRTEENTH AMENDMENT FOR THE MAINTENANCE OF THE WELFARE CASE DATA SYSTEM (WCDS) CONSORTIUM AND ELECTRONIC DATA SYSTEMS (EDS)

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors adopted resolution 64646 authorizing the execution of the Twelfth Amendment to the Agreement between the County of San Mateo, Santa Clara, San Diego, Sonoma, Tulare, Santa Cruz, Fresno, Solano, San Luis Obispo, Contra Costa, Placer, Alameda, Yolo, Orange, City and County of San Francisco, Santa Barbara, Sacramento, and EDS Federal Corporation, for the maintenance of the computerized Welfare Case Data System specifying the service hours and actual cost of $6,614,400 for fiscal year 2001 through 2002 to be jointly appropriated, with the San Mateo County share to be $389,082, and;

WHEREAS, it is anticipated that the terms and conditions of the Amendment will remain the same as last fiscal year, and;

WHEREAS, the County's share for fiscal year 2002 through 2003 will be the same amount as last fiscal year ($389,082), and;

WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors wishes to authorize of the Director of the Human Services Agency to execute such Amendment;

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the President of this Board of Supervisors be hereby authorized, to direct the Human Services Agency Director to execute the Thirteenth Amendment on behalf of the County of San Mateo, and the Clerk of this Board shall attest the President's signature thereto.
