COMMENDING AND HONORING

ANNE CATHERINE ARNOLD, J.D.

UPON HER GRADUATION FROM

GOLDEN GATE UNIVERSITY SCHOOL OF LAW

WHEREAS, it has come to the attention of the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California that on May 18, 2002, ANNE CATHERINE ARNOLD will be graduating from the Golden Gate University School of Law; and

WHEREAS, a graduate of Saint Catherine of Siena School in Burlingame, ANNE CATHERINE ARNOLD was involved in many school activities, including class officer, lector and athlete; and

WHEREAS, ANNE CATHERINE ARNOLD graduated Burlingame High School with high honors, having the second best GPA in a class of 300 students. During her junior year, ANNE was elected by the faculty to represent the school at the California Girl's State Convention. ANNE was also involved in athletics which included swimming, running and volleyball; and

WHEREAS, in 1997, ANNE CATHERINE ARNOLD attended and graduated from UC Davis with a degree in Political Science. As a member and officer of Delta Delta Delta Sorority, ANNE interned in the Offices of the Minority Leader of the California Assembly, as well as the White House; and

WHEREAS, during law school, ANNE CATHERINE ARNOLD was honored for her skills in legal analysis and writing. As a member of Golden Gate University School of Law's team, ANNE'S involvement was critical at the National Moot Court Competition in Chicago, Illinois; and

WHEREAS, ANNE CATHERINE ARNOLD continues her career as a Law Clerk at the Law Office of Cotchett, Pitre, Simon and McCarthy..

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, does hereby join her family and friends in congratulating ANNE CATHERINE ARNOLD upon her graduation from Golden Gate University School of Law and wishes her years of success as she jumpstarts her career as a member of the Bar..
