A County employee since 1985 Margaret began her career with the County as a receptionist and served in that position in the South San Francisco Branch for 11 years. Margaret was wonderful in this position because of her sunny disposition. She was always cheerful and was capable of handling the morass of phone calls, often having to deal with distraught victims and difficult defendants, not to mention impatient attorneys from inside and outside the office.
In 1997, she became a Legal Secretary. She excelled in this position too. Her positive attitude and genuine desire to assist her attorneys in their need makes her very special. At one time, she was the Legal Secretary with the least seniority and yet she had the highest caseload and was always willing to take on more and assist her fellow co-workers.
In 2000, Margaret was promoted to Lead Legal Secretary. Again, her positive attitude and excellent role model made her the best choice for the position. As the Lead, Margaret continues to excel. Margaret has a strong work ethic, an incredible sense of humor, a good working relationship with all her fellow co-workers and she is wonderfully supportive to her supervisor. Margaret it truly an inspiration to everyone she works with.
