RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF
AMENDMENTS (2001-3, 2002-1, 2002-2) TO THE AGREEMENT WITH THE
SAN MATEO HEALTH COMMISSION

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Board of Supervisors for its consideration and acceptance an amendment to the agreement, reference to which is hereby made for further particulars, whereby the San Mateo Health Commission will continue to pay for Medi-Cal reimbursable hospital and medical services provided to San Mateo County Medi-Cal recipients at San Mateo County General Hospital; and

WHEREAS, "San Mateo County General Hospital, referred to as HOSPITAL" will be amended to read "San Mateo County dba San Mateo County Health Center, hereinafter referred to as HOSPITAL".

WHEREAS, Amendment 2001-3 strikes "November 30, 2001" in Article X and inserts "December 31, 2001"; Amendment 2002-1 extends the term of the Contract through December 31, 2002; and Amendment 2002-2 deletes language regarding coverage by Health Plan of San Mateo (HPSM) of undocumented individuals in A(1) and deletes all of A(6), deletes the OBRA aid codes in Exhibit 3A, and adjusts the annual allocations to reflect the utilization and reimbursement provisions in the budget for this calendar year; and

WHEREAS, this Board has been presented with a form of the Amendments to the Agreement and has examined and approved it as to both form and content and desires to enter into the Amendments to the Agreement:

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the President of this Board of Supervisors be, and is hereby authorized and directed to execute said Amendments to the Agreement for and on behalf of the County of San Mateo, and the Clerk of this Board shall attest the President's signature thereto.
