RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CONTROLLER TO CONTINUE PAYMENTS TO THE PENINSULA LIBRARY SYSTEM COMMUNITY INFORMATION PROGRAM (CIP) FROM JULY 1, 2002 THROUGH SEPTEMBER 30, 2002

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, the Agreement is incorporated by reference herein, will expire on June 30, 2002 and a renewal Agreement has not been completed; and

WHEREAS, this resolution is necessary to authorize the Controller to make payments to The Peninsula Library System/CIP between the expiration date and the time of execution of the new Agreement; and

WHEREAS, this Board wishes to continue payments to the contractor as listed in Exhibit B:

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDER that the President of this Board of Supervisors authorizes the Controller to continue payments on said Agreement through September 30, 2002, for and on behalf of the County of San Mateo, subject to the Contractor's continued compliance with all terms and conditions of its most recent Agreement with the County. Said payments are to be made at the rates authorized by the Director of the Human Services Agency, as set forth in the Agreement.
