BOARD OF SUPERVISORS, COUNTY OF SAN MATEO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA

RESOLUTION ACCEPTING SAN MATEO COUNTY'S PROMOTING SAFE AND STABLE FAMILIES (PSSF) THREE-YEAR PLAN FOR FEDERAL FISCAL YEARS 2003-2005

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, this Board has designated the Peninsula Partnership as the planning body for the Promoting Safe and Stable Families Program; and

WHEREAS, Peninsula Partnership, through a Countywide collaborative process has developed a three year plan for Federal Fiscal Years 2003 through 2005 in accordance with the guidelines transmitted by the California Department of Social Services (CDSS); and

WHEREAS, CDSS requires the Board of Supervisors in each participating County to approve the local plan; and

WHEREAS, this Board has been presented with this three year plan and has examined as to both form and content and desires to approve it;

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the San Mateo Board of Supervisors supports the Countywide collaborative planning of services for the children, recognizes the importance of local community based partnerships in the delivery of those services, and approves the three year PSSF plan submitted by the Peninsula Partnership; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution remain in full force and effect until a resolution of the San Mateo Board of Supervisors is adopted attending or rescinding this resolution.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the President of the Board of Supervisors be, and is hereby authorized and directed to certify Board of Supervisor's approval of the resolution and all related documents.
