RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AN AMENDMENT OF THE AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY OF SAN MATEO TO PROVIDE MAINTENANCE OF FIRE SUPPRESSION EQUIPMENT

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Board of Supervisors for its consideration and acceptance an amendment of the agreement, reference to which is hereby made for further particulars, whereby the County of San Mateo agrees to provide maintenance of fire suppression equipment to the City of San Mateo; and

WHEREAS, this agreement is another example of a positive step toward cooperative service in San Mateo County, increasing the quality of fire protection services; and

WHEREAS, this Board has been presented with a form of such agreement and said Board has examined and approved same as to both form and content and desires to enter into same; and

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the President of this Board of Supervisors be, and he is hereby authorized and directed to execute said amendment with the City of San Mateo for the period of July 1, 2002 through August 31, 2002, for and on behalf of the County of San Mateo, and the Clerk of this Board shall attest her signature thereto.
