RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT WITH ELECTRONIC DATA SYSTEM (EDS) FOR MAINTENANCE OF THE COUNTY SERVICE MANAGEMENT RESOURCE TRACKING (SMART) SYSTEM

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, on June 26, 2001, by Resolution number 64571 the Director of Human Services Agency was authorized to execute an Agreement and future Amendments with Electronic Data System (EDS) for the purpose of SMART Maintenance; and

WHEREAS, both parties now wish to Amend the Agreement to extend the term date and increase the amount; and

WHEREAS, this Board has been presented with a form of such Amendment to the Agreement and said board having examined and approved the Amendment as to form and content, and desires to enter into the Amended Agreement;

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the President of this Board of Supervisors be, and is hereby authorized and directed to execute the Amendment to the Agreement for and on behalf of the County of San Mateo, and the Clerk of this Board shall attest his signature thereto.
