Resolution Authorizing Execution of an Amendment to Agreements with the Town of Woodside and the City of Redwood City for Transmission of Sanitary Sewage from the Town Center Sewer Assessment District (TCSAD)

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, as the Governing Board of the Fair Oaks Sewer Maintenance District(District), that

WHEREAS, the properties at 179 Albion Avenue and 239 Miramontes Road in the Town of Woodside have failing septic systems and present a potential public health problem; and

WHEREAS, the Woodside Town Council has granted sewer allocations to these properties and authorized their annexation to the TCSAD; and

WHEREAS, it is necessary and desirable to amend the agreements approved by the Board of Supervisors on August 7, 2001, which agreements provide for the Transmission, Treatment and Disposal of Sewage from the TCSAD though District facilities; and

WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Board, forms of amendments to the agreements with the Town of Woodside and the City of Redwood City for Transmission of Sanitary Sewage from the TCSAD; and

WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works has recommended that the President of the Board be authorized to execute said amendments once the applicable fees are paid to the District; and

WHEREAS, this Board has considered said amendments and the recommendation of the Director of Public Works.

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED THAT the President of the Board of Supervisors be, and is hereby, authorized and directed to execute said amendments on behalf of the District once the following fees have been paid:

Sewer connection fee per parcel

$1,126

Sewer treatment charge for one year per parcel

$207

Miscellaneous Service fee per parcel

$150

Total per parcel

$1,483

and the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors be, and is hereby authorized and directed to attest to the signature of the President to said amendments.
