RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AGREEMENT WITH JOHNSON CONTROLS, INC. FOR MAINTENANCE OF SECURITY SYSTEMS AT THE SAN MATEO COUNTY HEALTH CENTER

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that:

WHEREAS, in conjunction with the departments of Health Services and the San Mateo County Health Center, the Sheriff's Office oversees security services management at the Health Center campus at 37^th Avenue, San Mateo, including the provision of a wide variety and scope of electronic security alarms, systems and equipment; and

WHEREAS, it is necessary that said equipment be supported and maintained in a competent, timely and professional manner, and the Sheriff's Office has therefore obtained qualified proposals from those vendors already working on site at said facility, and has subsequently identified Johnson Controls, Inc., as the best qualified vendor to support security electronics systems at the Health Center campus; and

WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Board of Supervisors for its consideration and acceptance an Agreement, reference to which is hereby made for further particulars, whereby Johnson Controls will provide maintenance, support and upgrading of security systems at the Health Center campus for a five-year period, in a total amount not to exceed $339,471; and this Board has examined and approved same as to both form and content and desires to enter into same:

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED THAT: the President of this Board of Supervisors be, and is hereby authorized to execute said Agreement for and on behalf of the County of San Mateo, and the Clerk of this Board of Supervisors shall attest his signature thereto.
