BOARD OF SUPERVISORS, COUNTY OF SAN MATEO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA

RESOLUTION ACCEPTING A DONATION TO THE SHERIFF'S OFFICE DARE PROGRAM FROM DANGER, INC.,

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, Danger, Inc., wishes to donate an electric personal transporter called a "Sparrow" to the Sheriff's Office DARE Program; and

WHEREAS, said donation will be painted and stenciled with DARE logo's, and used in various school functions and community activities attended by Sheriff's personnel; and

WHEREAS, this Board has been requested by the Sheriff to accept said donation for and on behalf of the County of San Mateo, and finds it necessary and desirable to do so; and

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED:

This Board of Supervisors hereby accepts said donation to the Sheriff's Office DARE Program, in the approximate total value of $14,900, for and on behalf of the County of San Mateo, and hereby offers its thanks to Danger, Inc., for their generous donation towards the safety and education of San Mateo County citizens.
