Resolution Authorizing Amendment to an Agreement with EIP Associates to Provide Biological Oversight and Monitoring for Implementation of a Mitigation Plan in Connection With Flood Control Improvements Constructed between Spruce and San Mateo Avenues, - South San Francisco Area

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo acting as the Board of Directors of the San Mateo County Flood Control District (District), State of California, that

WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of County by its Resolution No. 63721, dated June 20, 2000 authorized an agreement for the employment of EIP Associates, professional scientific experts, on a temporary basis for a specific project for and on behalf of District; and

WHEREAS, under the terms of said agreement, EIP Associates has provided a proposal for certain monitoring and follow-up service required by regulatory agencies as conditions of approval for a permit to construct flood control improvements; and

WHEREAS, the parties hereto desire to amend said agreement with EIP Associates to provide the necessary services:

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that

Said agreement with EIP Associates be amended to include the required biological oversight and monitoring services under the direction of the Director of Public Works for the mitigation of wetland habitat displaced in connection with Flood Control Improvements constructed in Colma Creek between Spruce and San Mateo Avenues, South San Francisco Area.

2.

The President of the Board of Supervisors of this county be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to execute an amendment to said Agreement and affix the corporate seal of the County San Mateo
