A County employee since 1996, Julie Ann has all the qualities of the ideal employee. Her attendance is stellar, her attitude is always positive and she is industrious and highly competent in all of her nursing skills.
Having worked previously on the medical-psychiatric unit, Julie Ann is now competent in both psychiatric nursing and medical nursing. As such, she is often asked to "float" from the psychiatric unit to the medical unit. She does so willingly, without complaint, despite the disruption in routine. When she is working on psychiatry, she is a true asset, given her competency in both medical and psychiatric assessment and symptom management.
There are few nurses who rival her scope of knowledge in terms of overall patient assessment skills. Over the past year, Julie Ann has gone above the call of duty to assist management in compiling data on restraint and seclusion for quality monitoring. In addition, Julie Ann is flexible and frequently makes changes in her schedule to assist with coverage of the unit. Both patients and staff respond to her kind, compassionate, and caring nature.
Our County is fortunate to have Julie Ann Quizon as one of its outstanding employees. |
