Recommendation
Deny the claims listed below.

 

Background
Under authority of Resolution No. 35006 and Ordinance No. 2321, the Board directed the

Director to process claims filed against the County. Further investigation may indicate

Justification for payment by the County. If so, payment will be made under the authority of the Risk Manager or will be brought back to the Board.

Claimant alleges false imprisonment and negligence caused him emotional distress and violated his civil rights.

Claimant alleges violation of his civil and property rights based on statements and actions taken by a Sheriff's employee.

Claimant alleges she suffered severe and permanent personal injuries after a vehicle collision due to inadequate or poor design and the failure to maintain clear drainage ditches and drains at or near the driveway of 1375 Black Mountain Road in Hillsborough.

Claimant alleges for an unreasonable length of time, the traffic control lights were not functioning at Poplar and North San Mateo Drive in San Mateo and caused her loss of earnings, medical care, and general damages.
