RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE REORGANIZATION OF THE CORONER'S OFFICE |

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that |
|
WHEREAS, there exists a need to provide Coroner services in the most efficient and effective manner possible; and |
|
WHEREAS, this Board has, on July 9, 2000, approved the early retirement of the Executive Assistant position; and |
|
WHEREAS, this Board has determined that the proposed reorganization of the Coroner's Office, including elimination of an Executive Assistant position, holding vacant the Accountant II position for a six month study period, and adding of a Management Analyst II-U position, is in the best interest of the County; and |
|
WHEREAS, this Board wishes to implement proposed changes and reductions to the Coroner's Office; and |
|
WHEREAS, it is necessary and desirable that said changes are effective September 1, 2002; |
|
NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the President of the Board of Supervisors be directed, and he is hereby so authorized, to approve the recommendation proposed by the Coroner, and the Clerk of this Board shall attest his signature thereto. |
