RESOLUTION IN SUPPORT OF SENATE BILL 1301 (Kuehl) REPRODUCTIVE PRIVACY ACT

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, the Senator Sheila Kuehl has authored SB 1301, which would create the Reproductive Privacy Act;

WHEREAS, the County of San Mateo has an interest in protecting the basic health and safety for San Mateo County residents;

WHEREAS, the County is committed to ensure San Mateo County residents have access to healthcare and preventative care; and

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the San Mateo County Board of Supervisors by the adoption of this resolution hereby supports SB 1301 (Kuehl).
