RESOLUTION APPROVING A CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF BOATING AND WATERWAYS GRANT APPLICATION IN THE AMOUNT OF $9,500 FOR THE VESSEL PUMPOUT FACILITY AT THE COYOTE POINT MARINA

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, the California Department of Boating and Waterways administers Federal funds for a grant up to 75% of the project costs for the installation of vessel pumpout facilities at the Coyote Point Marina;

WHEREAS, the existing pumpout equipment at the Coyote Point Marina is eleven years old and the grant would provide for upgraded pumpout equipment that utilizes a more technologically efficient system;

WHEREAS, the California Department of Boating and Waterways requires a resolution from the County Board of Supervisors to complete a grant contract;

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the San Mateo County Board of Supervisors by adoption of this resolution hereby approves the filing of an application for a California Department of Boating and Waterways grant in the amount of $9,500 and authorizes the Director of the Environmental Services Agency to execute and submit the grant application and any other subsequent documents related to the grant, including, but not limited to, the grant agreement.
