Recommendation |
Approve the nomination by the Treasurer for the appointment of Larry J. Shaw, to the County Investment Advisory Committee, to serve at the pleasure of the Board of Supervisors. |

Background |
With the resignation of John W. Jalonen, former Chairman of the Investment Advisory Committee, there was a need for recruitment to fill the vacancy. Per the California Government Code Section 27131 and the County Resolution No. 65341, "Members of the Treasury Oversight Committee shall be nominated by the Treasurer and confirmed by the Board of Supervisors." |
