Resolution Accepting Offer of Dedication for Construction of a Sewer Main Extension in the Emerald Lake Heights Sewer Maintenance District

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, this Board of Supervisors, as the governing body of the Emerald Lake Heights Sewer Maintenance District, a County Sewer District of the County of San Mateo, State of California, hereinafter called "District", is authorized to accept sewer system distribution facilities constructed by private Developers for operation and maintenance of said District; and

WHEREAS, the Emerald Estates Land Company, Inc., hereinafter called "Developer", have constructed approximately 20 linear feet of sewer main extension in the vicinity of 1055 Wilmington Way for the purposes of providing sewer system service to seven locations on Emerald Estates Court; and

WHEREAS, Developer has submitted a written offer of dedication of said sewer facilities for operation and maintenance by District, and upon acceptance by District relinquishes all further claim in said facilities; and

WHEREAS, it is necessary and desirable that said facilities and interests thereto offered by Developer be accepted by District; and

WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works of the County of San Mateo, State of California, recommends that said offer of dedication of sewer facilities be accepted by District; and

WHEREAS, this Board has considered the recommendation of the Director of Public Works.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that said Offer of Dedication by Emerald Estates Land Company of sanitary sewer facilities constructed by them in the vicinity of 1055 Wilmington Way is hereby accepted on behalf of the Emerald Lake Heights Sewer Maintenance District, and said facilities shall become a part of the District's facilities and shall be operated and maintained by said District.
