Second Amendment To Lease with the City of Menlo Park for the Menlo Park Health Clinic. Lease No. 1197 |
Recommendation |
Adopt a resolution authorizing the President of the Board of Supervisors to execute a Second Amendment To Lease extending the term of the agreement for an additional five years. |
Background |
The Belle Haven Clinic has been providing services to the City of Menlo Park since 1994. The current agreement expired on March 31, 2002. Real Property attempted to renew the agreement prior to the expiration but only received the signed paperwork recently. |
Discussion |
The Second Amendment To Lease extends the term of the agreement through March 31, 2007 under the same terms and conditions. |
Vision Alignment |
The Second Amendment To Lease Agreement keeps the commitment of responsive, effective and collaborative government and goal number 22: County and local governments effectively communicate, collaborate and develop strategic approaches to issues affecting the entire County. The agreement contributes to this commitment and goal since it establishes a working agreement with benefits to both the County of San Mateo and the City of Menlo Park. |
Fiscal Impact |
There are no additional costs associated with this Second Amendment To Lease Agreement. |
