Resolution Authorizing the President of the Board to Execute a Grant Agreement with the Federal Aviation Administration dated September 30, 2002, for the Half Moon Bay Airport. AIP Project No. 3-06-0097-07, Contract No. DTFA08-02-C-309

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has offered a Grant in the amount of $150,000 to the County for the purpose of preparing the Environmental Assessment Study for the Half Moon Bay Airport Master Plan project; and;

WHEREAS, it is necessary to enter into an agreement with the FAA which provides the conditions governing the use of said grants by the County; and;

WHEREAS, this Board has reviewed said agreement and considered same.

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that:

1.

the President of this Board of Supervisors is hereby authorized to sign said grant agreement dated September 30, 2002, on behalf of the County of San Mateo; and

2.

the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors is hereby authorized and directed to attest the signature of the President of this Board of Supervisors to said agreement.
