Resolution Authorizing the Director of Public Works to File Applications for Grants with the State of California to Fund Improvements to Portions of Mirada Road

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, the State of California is accepting applications for funding under the Bicycle Transportation Account Program; and

WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works has recommended that applications be submitted for grant funding for projects on Mirada Board; and

WHEREAS, this Board has considered the recommendation of the Director of Public Works.

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the Director of Public Works is hereby authorized to submit applications and any other documents required by the State of California in order to qualify for grants from the State of California Bicycle Transportation Account Grant Program to finance improvements on or to Mirada Road between Alameda Avenue and Magellan Avenue
