RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE COYOTE POINT MUSEUM ASSOCIATION

TO INCREASE ADMISSION FEES TO THE MUSEUM

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, the non-profit Coyote Point Museum Association ("Association") has operated the Coyote Point Museum on behalf of the County by written agreement since 1978;

WHEREAS, Section 4(b) of the Agreement between the County and Association states that "No charge for admission to the museum and/or wildlife center shall be made other than that which may be approved by County upon recommendation of the Association;"

WHEREAS, the Association has requested an increase in admission fees from $4.00 to $6.00 for Adults; $2.00 to $4.00 for Seniors; from $2.00 to $4.00 for Students; and from $1.00 to $2.00 for Children to offset increased operational and maintenance costs;

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the San Mateo County Board of Supervisors by adoption of this resolution hereby approves the Coyote Point Museum Association to increase admission fees to the Coyote Point Museum as herein stated.
