RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT WITH THE

COUNTY OF SAN MATEO AND REDWOOD CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, the Redwood City School District provides coordination and administrative support to interagency school-based Family Resource Centers in Redwood City; and

WHEREAS, through its Family Resource Centers located at Taft, Fair Oaks, Hoover and Kennedy schools, human services, health services, educational support, and community development activities are provided to a community of 2,000 residents; and

WHEREAS, the County of San Mateo and the Redwood City School District desire to enter into an Agreement to provide counseling services at the Family Resource Centers; and

WHEREAS, The County of San Mateo employs five Psychiatric Social Workers to provide these counseling services; and

WHEREAS, the Redwood City School District, as fiscal agent for the collaborative, which supports the Family Resource Centers, has agreed to reimburse San Mateo County forpart of salaries and benefits of these positions; and

WHEREAS, this Board has been presented with a form of Agreement and has examined and approved the same as to both form and content and desires to enter into the same.

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the President of this Board of Supervisors is hereby authorized and directed to execute said Agreement for and on behalf of the County of San Mateo, and the Clerk of this Board shall attest the President's signature thereto.
